Two aluminum-clad cones rise on avenue Pierre-De Coubertin, next to the Stade olympique. The planetarium opened in 2013 and belongs to Espace pour la vie, along with the Biodôme, the Jardin botanique and the Insectarium.
Two dome theatres, each about 18 metres across, project at 360 degrees.
