Édifice Belgo

Six storeys of yellow brick, Indiana limestone and Montreal greystone, designed by Finley & Spence and completed in 1913 for the Scroggie's department store: the building takes its name from the Belgo Canadian Pulp & Paper Company, a Brussels-founded papermaker that kept its head office here.
