Strøm Spa Nordique (Île-des-Sœurs)
Nuns' Island, Montréal$$$
About
Strøm spa nordique sits on the edge of lac des Battures, on Île-des-Sœurs, minutes from downtown yet ringed by trees.
The thermal experience alternates hot and cold: open-air whirlpools, tempered and ice baths, Finnish saunas, a eucalyptus steam room, thermal and Nordic waterfalls, then rest areas with fireplaces, indoors and out.
