Nouveau Palais

Nouveau Palais has occupied a former Bernard Street snack bar for decades — booths, counter and neon included — but the evening service has bistro ambitions. The burger is still the main reason to walk in: a big bun, a generous patty, bacon and cheese add-ons it would be a shame to refuse, and a portion of fries making no attempt at elegance.
