Deli La Trattoria (La Tratt)

Since 2004, La Trattoria has been the West Island's Italian gathering point: fine grocer, prepared-food counter, pastry shop and, more recently, wood-fired pizzeria. The crust is excellent, and the house is not afraid to wander — pineapple and pork belly, for instance — which contrasts with the seriousness of the sandwiches.
